Tell us about what a Digital Designer does at WorkCast?
Basically if it involves design, I'm there. At WorkCast, this can be anything from creating new branded webinar templates, video editing, or even set design for webcasts. I'm also responsible for the creation of all new event experiences.

Describe a typical day for you at WorkCast
There are no two days that are alike, which keeps work fresh and challenging. A big part of my role is to oversee the creation of new webinar experiences and virtual events for our clients - that's the one constant for me. But it varies, I could be designing marketing collateral for an event we're attending in the morning, and then spend my afternoon prototyping a new UI design for future platform releases. It's a lot of fun.

What's one thing that still surprises you about WorkCast?
The global scale at which the company works. It still surprises me when we have clients using our product in faraway places like Dubai, and then others who we've met in person and work just a few blocks away. It really shows the reach and scale that webinars can have.

What advice do you have for companies that want to run webinars?
Create, create, create! Don't sit on the fence about whether to run webinars, just start doing it and the results will come. Creating content at scale for your audience is always a good idea.

Now let's chat about you outside of work....

Is there anything, or anyone who has inspired you recently?
Corridor Digital is a small American production studio based in Los Angeles. They are creating some incredible visual effects and prove that even a small team can create movie quality effects using the technology available today. Because of them,  I have started learning how to use 3D software in my spare time.

If you never had to work another day in your life, how would you fill your days?
Painting landscapes in a forest to channel my inner Bob Ross.

Last question for you. What are you looking forward to in 2020?
Going on a road trip from the UK to Austria, it's a 2,400 mile round trip, but the views and experience will be 100% worth it. Can't wait!
